Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is a medical procedure used to treat cancer in dogs. The procedure involves freezing the tumor with liquid nitrogen and destroying it. This can be done with either cryosurgery or laser therapy.

The benefits of cryosurgery over laser therapy are that it’s less invasive, requires smaller incisions and can be used on tumors that are difficult to reach with lasers.

Cryosurgery also has risks associated with it, including damage to nearby blood vessels and nerves, as well as inflammation and scarring.
