Anemia

Anemia in dogs is a condition where your dog’s red blood cells are low, which leads to a lack of oxygen in their body. The symptoms are similar to those of humans, such as fatigue and weakness.

When dogs have anemia, they don’t get enough oxygen from their circulatory system and instead must rely heavily on their lungs to get the air they need. This can cause shortness of breath, especially during exercise and play.
