Polyphenols

Polyphenols are compounds found exclusively in plants, particularly berries. Polyphenols suppress the Nf-kB pathway, which reduces inflammation.

Polyphenols are a family of chemicals found in plants and some animals. They’re also known as plant pigments. They come in a wide variety of colors and flavors, but they all have the same basic chemical structure: two benzene rings linked by a 6-carbon ring.

Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants, which means they can help protect your body from free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that damage your cells and contribute to aging and disease. Antioxidants like polyphenols are nature’s way of fighting off free radicals before they can do any damage.
