Bile

Bile is a substance that your dog’s body makes to digest fat. It’s created in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. When it’s released into the small intestine, bile helps break down and absorb fat.

Bile has a yellowish-green color, so it’s not surprising that you might see some poop that looks like this.
